Rates & Services

Regular Access Plans

Basic Plan = $18.95 per month (plus a one-time setup-fee of only $25.00). Includes 3 mail boxes, 10 megabytes of disk space and up to 200 hours of usage per month. Usage beyond 200 hours is billed at ten cents per hour.

Business Plan = $30.00 per month (plus a one-time setup-fee of only $25.00). Includes 3 mail boxes, 10 megabytes of disk space and up to 300 hours of usage per month. Usage beyond 300 hours is billed at ten cents per hour.

Business Pro Plan = $50.00 per month (plus a one-time setup-fee of only $25.00). Includes 3 mail boxes, 10 megabytes of disk space and up to 400 hours of usage per month. Usage beyond 400 hours is billed at ten cents per hour. Also includes Domain Email as well as Domain Hosting (see below)

High Performance Leased Lines

Leased lines are available Contact the Networking department at networks@cheshire.net or call the main office at 352-9966 Note: All Leased Line Plans include Domain Hosting & Domain E-Mail. For Leased Lines, a Router & CSU/DSU will be necessary on the customer's end. This can be provided by the customer, or purchased through Cheshire Net at discounted rates.

Additional Services Available

Additional Mailboxes = $ 5.00 per additional mailbox per month.

Additional Webspace = $ 5.00 per 10 additional megabytes.

Network Services Our network professionals will come to your business or home and install customized networks for all your computers & peripherals, be it 2 computers or 200. Service Contracts available.

Computer Service and Upgrades Cheshire Network Services has a fully functional computer service department. As a Cheshire Net customer you will receive discounted prices towards any and all service work towards your computer. We specialize in building new computers or we can also upgrade your existing system. Call our Service Center at (603) 352-7343 to schedule bringing your computer in for a free systems analysis.

Domain Services

A note about ALL domain services- Internic, the quasi governmental organization that handles Domain Names, will bill you $70.00 (two years at $35.00 per year) for registration of your domain name. For more information about Internic, point your web browser to: http://ns.internic.net.

This is billed separately and is not under the control of nor affiliated with Cheshire Net.

Domain Hosting (www.yourdomain.com)* = $25.00 per month, and a one-time setup fee of $25.00. This allows your customers to access your web pages using your domain name (www.yourdomain.com) instead of Cheshire Net's address (www.cheshire.net/~yourusername). Domain E-mail service is provided Free of Charge with this service.

Domain Email (anyname@yourdomain.com) = $10.00 per month, and a one-time setup-fee of $25.00. This option allows you to give your customers your personal business email address (For example- sales@yourdomain.com) instead of Cheshire Net's address (mybusiness@cheshire.net). You may choose up to nine domain emailboxes (ie. sales@yourdomain.com, info@yourdomain.com, boss@yourdomain.com, etc). Important Note: Domain Email does NOT allow your customers to access your web pages using your domain name.

Web pages which exceed 500 megabytes of transfers per month are subject to additional transfer fees. If this situation should arise, you will be contacted by Cheshire Net prior to incurring any additional fees.
